I cannot believe that the Longhorn's were even able to make a game of it, let alone take the lead with 19 seconds to go. Time out USC.......Texas going for the 2 point conversion.......and.............it's good. Texas 41 USC 38, 19 seconds to play. USC needs a miracle now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being from Texas, I was a little happy. But USC is an awesome team and they played great. What a game!

I'm a native Pasadenan so I grew up with the Rose Parade and Bowl. It seems like the teams playing are always Michigan and Ohio or other far away places. So like most Pasadenans the Parade was always a much bigger deal. Then I moved across the country and found out nobody else watches the parade, only the game and my egocentric bubble burst. Anyways the point of all this is I was glad there was at least a So Cal team in the game so that for once we could care about the game AND the parade even if USC did lose.

I don't think I have ever watched the game....just the parade.

One of these years, I will make it out there to watch it in person - hopefully not in the pouring down rain.

There's nothing quite like spending the night on the parade route. It's so noisy and cold that it's almost impossible to sleep so by the time the parade actually comes all you want is to go home. It was a lot of fun in high school but I don't think I could be tricked into it now.
