Oh gosh, one of my all-time favorite movies. I love Top Gun. it was one of the inspirations for me to become a pilot. I actually like Heaven in Your Eyes by Loverboy a little better as the requisite mushy-mushy love song, and it is on the Top Gun soundtrack, but for the life of me I've never been able to find where in the movie that song is played. But Take My breath Away did fit nicely as the overall love theme, so I'm not really complaining.

I'm not really into the 80s music all that much, with the exception of a few rare songs I remember from my youngest days (i was born in 84). But the Top Gun Sountrack is a clear exception to that case. I love every song on it.

I can take any love song everyday of the week, i am like the love song queen.... I like Top Gun also, and just everytime i hear take my breath away it reminds me of the scene... Also, How do i live by hmm, shoot forgot her name she's married to Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearheart(sp), that's it, that song reminds me of CONAIR, at the end of the movie when Nicolas Cage comes home to his wife and daughter oh my goodness, that song was playing and i was balling my eyeballs out

Don, heaven in your eyes was being played i believe when maverick and goose were at the airport and then she sees them, and jumps into his arms

Are you talking about the scene when they are picking up Goose's wife (Meg Ryan's character) and son from the airport? Hmm... I'll have to check that out again when I find a few hours at the apartment.

(I will never understand why there seems to be so much dislike for this song these days. I love this tune; especially since hearing it reminds me of good times at WDW.)
