Deepest, Darkest, Dirty little Disney Secret....

Over the weekend I mentioned my Deepest, Darkest, Dirty little Disney Secret to the girls I work with and they were all shocked :wow: to say the least....

After all of these years, books, collectables, t-shirts, bags and at least 10 Disney trips.... I do not own a pair of Mouse Ears. :mickeykid

I thought it might be fun for all of us to share these Disney Geek secrests with one another. So post it here....

I'm a Disney habitualist. I mean, it's not so bad if you only go every so often, but when I first bought my season pass last year and started making multiple trips, I realized that each trip was almost exactly like the one previous, because I'd always do the exact same things over and over. I never learned to break out and try something new. After a half dozen or so trips of doing the same thing over and over, I decided to make a conscious effort to try new things. Attractions or shows I'd bypassed before, street performances I'd never made it a point to catch, even buildings I'd never taken the time to walk around the back side of and see what was over there. I'm amazed by some of the neat things I've discovered this way.

Would you believe that up until last year, I never realized that you could bypass the hub from Main Street, USA to Tomorrowland by diverting across the Tomorrowland Terrace? I didn't even know they connected! I thought that the walkway stopped just past the seating for the Plaza Restaurant. Here's a few more... I never realized that there was a hedge maze in the UK pavilion at EPCOT! Or that there was counter service food available anywhere other than in Future World! I never tried the famous turkey legs until just a few months ago. I still have never had a Dole Whip. I've only been to Pleasure Island once in my life... and I think I was 12 when I went. I have a veeeery old-school pair of mickey ears that are like the ballcap kind, but don't stay on my head. I've been talking about getting a pair of the good kind forever, but have yet to break down and spend the cash. Gosh, there's a million things that all you hardcore Disney nuts would be shocked to hear I'd never done.

You know...I've never had a Dole Whip either. I knew there was a hedge maze, but I've never taken the time to find it.

I also have only had one Dole whip, in 2001. Last July was my first Turkey Leg.

Last month was my first trip to Pecos Bills! :cowboy:

I've got a lot! But hopefully I'll be able to fix a lot of them if I get to be a CP.

-I've never ridden Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and I don't even get dizzy on rides like that.
-I've only watched Wishes from the bus area. I actually got to see all the fireworks while waiting for a bus from Pop Century to come. Geez.

I'm sure there's more, but I'm working on making the list less extensive! :yes:

I've never tasted Beverly. I've never eaten a turkey leg. I've never been on Mission Space. I've never been to any hotels (even for a meal) except the values. I've never been to a water park. I've never been the the energy pavillion at Epcot.

I'm sure there is more...but my brain is mush at the moment.
