Donnie made navy beans and ham (with the leftover bone from xmas--I froze it ppl-yeesh) over cornbread with some maple syrup on it. Well at least that is the way I had a tiny bit of it, he added fresh onions and ketchup too...BLEECH!
I am now eating the remainder of my dinner. Local made Italian bread with "good" butter (aka-unsalted real stuff) and some pepper jelly. Filling at least since I didnt care for the bean thing.
Tonight - haven't decided yet as it will just be me!
Won't be grilling....not sure I could even get the cover off the grill with all the ice!!!!
Sorry Melissa....we will be grilling out burgers tonight. It is supposed to be high of 70 today.
Decided that a cold icky day like today is perfect for a batch of beef stew. So...I've already browned the beef and sauteed the onions and threw everything into the crockpot. Might whip up a batch of biscuits before serving.
I am not sure...but I am at Mom's this week, so I should be able have some actual food!
Oh yum! Beef stew and biscuits! Can I come over?
