    Tarzan on Broadway

Well I finally herad it on the radio this morning tickets are on sell now for Tarzan. This time I won't wait I'm going to see if I can tickets to go see it. It so nice to be so close to NYC only at certain times though Anyone else going?

    So question for the thread:

How do you think this next Disney animation film will stack up on Broadway?

Last night was the official opening night for Tarzan - it has been in previews on Broadway since March and tickets have been on sale even longer than that.

The review I read in this morning's paper was not very kind to the show. They called it 'more ambitious than BatB' but not up to the standard set by The Lion King. As Disney entertainment, it sounds like a good show.

There is a lot of aerial work done in Tarzan - almost all the major characters find themselves hanging from the ceiling at some point - that sounds very cool. There are warnings though that if you get tickets, don't get the seats labeled 'partial view' or 'obstructed view' b/c the overhang of the mezzanine level blocks the view of the aerialists.

Well, who knows when I will make it to New York to see it....although I am sure it is interesting. I was not a fan of Tarzan Rocks at DAK, so who knows if I should even bother.

The reviews over here weren't too kind to Tarzan either!!

I say it is down to personal opinion!!

.... I wonder if it will make the 'West End Theatre District' in London???
