Unfortunate News

Hello friends,

This is Damon, Katy's fiance and I'm posting on her name.
Katy was in a semi serious car accident yesterday on the expressway. She was in a traffic jam on the expressway because of a prior accident. She was at a complete stop when a car from the other side of the expressway flew out into the median and smashed into her driver side door at around 50 miles an hour. The driver of the vehicle and her 5 year old grand daughter were not hurt. They explained it as the car in front of them slowed to look at the accident on the other side and so the driver could not stop from hitting them. She swerved, flew across the median and hit Katy. Katy is fortunately alive, has some broken bones and scratches - but is still in the hospital for tonight. Once she gets home tomorrow she will probably be resting for a couple days. She wanted me to let everyone know here that she would not be on for a while. She was concerned that those of you playing her game would be getting anxious and wondering where she was. She wanted me to let you know that by the weekend she should be feeling better and be getting on the computer. Luckily she will be fine. I know she has a blast here and has some great friends, so I wanted to make sure everyone knew that she was ok, just very upset and shaken up.

Best of wishes for a quick and happy recovery. Katy is a nice soul and we will be missing her on DWT while she is resting. And on VMK, I got her covered.

I hope that she recovers quickly without to much pain. Glad that you informed us, and so glad that she didn't get to badly injuired.. Will be praying for her for a speedy recovery

OMG....thank goodness it wasn't worse. Katy, I cannot even believe that you would be thinking about all of us and the silly murder game! You just take care of yourself and get better. I'm not that far away...please let me know if you need anything. Gotta watch out for those crazy Detroit drivers!
