of Prince Charming for the 1950 Disney classic Cinderella (most notably on the tune "So This Is Love"), is born in Chicago, Illinois.
2006:
Dies on his birthday at age 81.
P.S. DW and I saw him at the Indiana State Fair many years ago when he hosted his show there.

I saw this on the news last night....very sad, especially since he passed on his birthday. He was a very interesting and entertaining man, I remember watching his show when I was young with my Mom. I never knew that he was the singing voice for Prince Charming. Very interesting tidbit, thank you for that JC.
