Just to make yall Jealous LOL!!
Well I finally did it. This Saturday while doing an errand in NYC for our lovely iwannabeminnie the kids and I decided to go see the Lion King on Broadway. Well I must say it was the most spectular thing I have ever seen on Broadway. Keep in mind I live in NJ and have every chance in the world to go see it just never had the time or tickets were always sold out. Long time ago when it was in previews I had the chance but I said I would wait BIG mistake on my part. But I will say it was well worth the wait. I have seen tons of shows on Broadway but never anything like this. It was AWESOME to quote my kids. It was so good my kids who by the way model wants me to call their agent to get them adutions LOL that how much they loved it. My little one was leaping all over the place lol it was that much fun. Now we are going to see Mary Poppins next month since that's going to be in previews can't wait just wanted to share.

I have seen the Broadway versioni of The Lion King down here in the south and your girls are right, it is AWESOME and amazing too.
But what I am really jealous of is that you get to go see Mary Poppins. But I heard they took out some of the classic songs - how can you NOT do spoonful of sugar?
Nothing to countdown to, so just smile and be happy everyday!

You are too cute, Jer. It was an awesome show - love the flying birds, we sat in the balcony, so they were right beside us....and you could get so into it!
Please do tell me about Mary Poppins, you know that is one of my all time fav Disney films...

I saw Mary Poppins in London last year. I remember "Spoonful of Sugar" in the musical. She made a bed appear out of nothing while she sang it, at least my husband and I REMEMBER it that way. LOL
I'll give my review of Lion King on Saturday. We have tickets for Friday night.

I saw LK on Broadway a few years ago and I was really good.
But I was a tad bothered by scar in the beginning of the second half.

Hmmm....I think I recall having a rambling VM I listened to last night when we got home similar to this post

Eesh, what'd they do to the front of the building?!
It looks...odd

He won't win the MVP or be voted into the Hall of Fame........then again, some heroes don't play games.

Melissa, this post sounds vaguely like a phone call I received earlier in the week as well.
