    Foxfire....... classic. These were the books granddad used to have on his bookshelf. The one I remember best had a green cover, and for reasons I didn't quite understand included plans for making a marionette. I guess the manlier activities had already been covered in the earlier editions.

    I think the way that making a marionette figures into the Foxfire way of life is just that it encourages folks to create their own entertainment, rather than relying on stuff like tv and the internet for diversion. There are also other books that have instructions for making your own musical instruments.

    I can't even express how much enjoyment I have gotten from these books and how truly inspiring I have found them to be for me personally.

    Today I started "Vanity Fair" by Thackeray. I'm only on chapter two but so far I like it a lot!

    "Cut, Paste, Kill" by Marshall Karp. His books always start off great, but the payoff is always a disappointment. I'm hoping he doesn't let me down again, but I don't expect he'll change.

    The Room. It is excellent. First chapters set it up but it just keeps getting better and better.

    The old fashioned way of reading-The Vault of Walt by Jim Korkis. Good read.

    On my Pandigital Reader(compatible with the Barnes and Noble store) The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I got it as part of a group of classic novels in two volumes. Some pretty famous authors. Twain, Tolstoy, Dickens, Verne to name a few.

    I'm also starting to re-read the Fables comic book series.
