What book are you reading right now?

How is Eldest? I thought about picking it up because I thought Eragon was ok. But was not sure if I would really like it.


I went to Borders the other day and I bought a history book. I normally don't read Non-Fiction.

It's called Romanovs by Robert Massie. I have had a fascination with the Romanovs and their execution ever since I had a children's lit course where we read a historical fiction novel about Anastasia for children. My professor was obsessed with her, she has been to Russia and to all the places they had lived. I am not obsessed but definately interested.
I started it last night and could barely put it down. What an awful thing to happen to them. It is really good and I will probably buy some more books about them if they are written as well as this one.

"Creating a Lean enviroment" Book for work.

I am bouncing between a few books right now...One on PHP and MySQL coding, one on starting a small business, and one on Pricing and Ethics for Graphic Designers.

One things calm down and my LLC gets started, I'll go back to reading Peter and the shadow theives.

Have you read the Dargon books by Chris D'lacey? It is a series of three books, The Fire Within, Icefire, and Fire Star. I have read 2 of the three and I really like them.

I have not read those yet but next time I at Borders I will look into them. They sound good.

What exactly are you going to be doing for your business?
At work I here I start people's LLC's all the time.

Web and Graphic Design. Just want to make sure my crosses and dots are all in place. And I'm trying to figure out what accounting software to use.

Lots of research has been done...lots more to go.

I am about halfway through "Inkheart" by Cornelia Funke and I am way into it. It was a book I bought just because it looked good. So naturally I am ecstatic that it actually is good.

I'm getting ready to start "The Alchemyst (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel)" by Michael Scott. This is the first in a planned series of 7, all a combination of history, myths, and fiction.

The reviews it is getting are really good.

Oh I am now reading "The Starter Wife"

the TV show was based on this book.

I'm about halfway through it and so far I like it.

One thing I found amusing is that in the book, the main characters name is Gracie. In the series, its' Molly, but considering they got Grace from Will & Grace to play "Gracie aka Molly" that wouldn't have been confusing at all. Would it?

But of course! It's Young adult, so I hopefully will get through it fast.
