Hey gang - I got this idea from another board but I thought it would be so awesome if we did this here.
We could send an item around the USA (or World). The item will be a beanie sized Minnie Mouse
How it would work is I would send Minnie to the first person on the list and when they recieve it they will take a picture of the item someplace in their town, city, state and post the picture here. Then it would get sent on to the next person until we have a whole thread full of pictures of our community stuffed toy visiting all the cool places in the USA/World.
Anybody up for this?
I would try to make the picture with the stuffed toy showing something unique or cool about your town/city/state.
It would probably be fairly cheap to ship. Around $1-2 I would think.
If you are interested in doing this please post your interest here and I will begin a list of trivia members who want to recieve the stuffed toy. Once someone gets the stuffed toy they will PM the next member on the list for their address. If that member does not respond within a week we will move down the list. The person who did not respond will be skipped until they are heard from.
I will post the first picture when I get the toy if anyone at all is interested. If not - just disregard this but it could be so cool and fun to see all the pictures!
Remember - only post your interest if you are comfortable giving out your home address to someone. Also anyone under the age of 18 will not be allowed to participate.
Before signing up for this activity I request that you have at least 100 posts on this forum.
**Important** Once you recieve the item this is what you will need to do.
-Post here that you recieved the item.
-Take a picture of the item somewhere in your town/city/state/country.
-Post the picture in this thread along with posting who the next person is that you are sending it to.
-PM that person and ask for their address.
-If they do not respond within a week. Skip to the next person and PM them.
-Post here if the person who was next on the list did not respond. We will then skip them until next time. If they do not respond three times in a row they will be placed at the bottom of the list and tried again at a later date.

The list is looking good so far. I am trying to think of where I will take the first picture when I get the stuffed toy.

They've been doing this for the past 10 months on Mice Chat, it looks like a lot of fun.
One thing they are doing is having the toy signed for so they can keep track of it. Just a suggestion...

We did this about 5 years ago on RADP with the beanie "Tourist Mickey" it was going pretty well for about 10 months when he "disappeared" and never heard from.

Yes I wasa bit worried about that, but the item will be fairly inexpensive and we will see how far we can go before losing it. Lol. Hopefully the list will help as to tell where it is at all times.
