Does anyone know how to file harrassement charges?

Yep the idiot old landlord is at it again. He is bothering Donnie at work. Wants to know if we want to cut a deal B4 he files damages***rolls eyes (the living room rug had stains--WOW-- I have a kid what do you expect?) He has a bunch of other bogus stuff on his list that wont stand up in court. But I want to file a harrassment charge against him and dont know how to go about doing it. Any help will be apprecitated. If you can Please PM me ASAP as tomorrow is Friday and I want to get the ball rolling before the weekend. I will give you my phone number to call me or I can call you to make life easier then typing.

I would highly recommend finding a local renters rights group. My wife and I had the worst landlord ever. He wouldn't repair anything(several things in the house were not up to code, including electricity), didn't replace locks between tenants, you name it. One time he actually started coming at me with a shovel! We joined a renters rights group here in Dallas, who gave us lots of great advice. They also offered free or discounted legal services once you joined. Rather than fight him in court and miss time at work, we opted to move out early and lose our deposit and last months rent. Yes we lost around $1,000 but I've never regretted the decision. It sure beat living in fear and being worried about what crazy thing he would do next. Hopefully your situation isn't as bad as that. I know it's an awful situation to be in and I hope it works out for you. Good luck.

One thing about tomorrow... It is being treated as a federal and state holiday because Veteran's day is on a Saturday this year.
