Superhero Lou Mongello saves the day!

Lake Buena Vista, FL (December 9, 2006) - In a stunning act of heroism and selflessness, superhero Lou Mongello was witnessed saving an elderly guest from certain peril in a local Disney theme park bakery. Sources say that as the lady attempted to maneuver an electric convenience vehicle through the twisting maze of queue, she became lodged between two queue stanchions with no apparent means of escape. Sensing that hunger was imminent, Mongello sprang into action, successfully dislodging the vehicle and freeing the elderly woman from the unforgiving grip of her bakery queue prison.

"I've never seen anything like it before," exclaimed an amazed onlooker. "Everyone was standing there watching the situation unfold, having no idea how to help. Then, out of nowhere, this man with a Mousefest button came leaping to the rescue! It was amazing!"

Sources say that the hunger striken yet grateful elderly woman then proceeded through the remainder of the queue without incident, eventually ordering a breakfast sandwich and coffee. It is unclear at this time what was ordered by superhero Mongello or his accomplice.

I see a superhero cartoon in the making. Saturday morning will never be the same. And the Lou super hero action figure. They'll be the hot item for next Christmas. I wonder if the action figure will come with a clam mobile? A DWT lanyard is a given. Maybe we'll stick with the Lou super hero plush since he's such a softee. Obviously being a DWT devotee will take on new meaning now that we have a good role model.
