The one in Florida had an A side and a B side. DL's "****" is hotter than Florida's was

Do you know if Disney still gives out gifts to lucky guests? I have not heard about any programs for years. Maybe with the 50th of DL coming up they will make some person's day even more magical.

We've found that you're more likely to be well received by various characters and/or cast members if you wear the “Mickey Ears”. My wife and I were awarded a free “wedding cake” because we were wearing the Mickey/Minnie bride and groom ears. (No, it wasn't one of those $7K multi-tiered designs.) We’ve also been asked to be part of parades, and tend to get more interaction with the Characters/CMs because of our special "hats".

I love taking those surveys. I was asked by a CM at ASMu to keep a daily diary last September (matter of fact it was exactly a year ago today). I had to write down what we did (WDW or otherwise), where we ate, and most importantly, how much we spent. I got a little "prize" each day for the 6 days, e.g. pen, antenna topper , keychain, and MM character. Then, to top it off Disney sent me a $25 gift card about 8 weeks later. I also get an e-mail survey every few months from WDW. I'm still hoping for a big prize someday.

When the hurricane's impact is not as great as expected, officials decide to open just Animal Kingdom from noon to
