| Hmm.. Maybe it's a 44 foot yacht, but if you count the flag out the stern and the pointy thing off the bow, it adds on another 4 feet? We'll have to call it 46 then. |

| July 3 Trivia 1. How long (in inches) is Tinkerbell's flight at the Magic Kingdom? 9000 [750 feet] (dzneynut) 2. Pumbaa means what in Swahili? Lazy, ignorant, etc... 3. In what other Disney film can the song Hakuna Matata be heard? Lion King 1.5 (crashbunny) OK, true. There's another non-TLK movie that I'm thinking of too... 4. What Lion King composer caused the opening of the entire movie to be redone, eliminating a lot of dialog, by making a (quite magnificent) longer version of the song than the animators expected? Menkin Nope. He did the original. Someone else changed it to make it longer. 6. The first two lines of the African Chant starting the song 'The Circle of Life' mean what when translated? "There's a lion, a very big lion!" (my source says "There comes a lion, yes, it's a big lion" but differences in translation abound) 7. In Phenomenon, what type of signals does George think he's understanding? Extraterrestrial (What "encoding" was what I meant by 'type') 8. In Phenomenon, what kind of signals is George really intercepting? 9. Who is the "host" of Innoventions, and who provides his voice? Tom Morrow, Nathan Lane (tiggerguy) 10. What song does this host sing for Guests, who provided the original lyrics, and who provided the revised 'innoventions' lyrics? There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow, the Sherman Brothers and the Sherman Brothers (tiggerguy) - did you know: Innoventions is in the same building as the Carousel of Progress was at Disneyland, and that song was featured in the Carousel of Progress show... 3,4,7,8 still want answers. |
