    August 8 is correct.

    "2) How much profit did Bambi bring in during its initial release?" - It actually lost money, and didn't show signs of earning back the cost (nearly 2 meeeeelion dollars) until the rerelease in 1947...

    August 9 is basically correct - the Pancake House became "Aunt Jemima's Kitchen" in 1962, however...
