This Day in Disney History

Each day, I'll post in this thread with some historical Disney event(s) that occurred in previous years on that date. Feel free to reminisce, cheer, jeer, comment, etc.

1995 - Nationwide opening of Pocahontas
1963 - Enchanted Tiki Room in Disneyland opens. ("But seņor, we've done the same show... Ja, since 1963!")

it was on the Great Lawn of Central Park.it was on at least 3 gigantic screens and there were ~100,000 viewers there

0) Oswald was a lucky rabbit.
1) There were three Disney Oswald films following The Fox Chase, and Walter Lantz continued the character after Disney lost the rights to him.
2) Yes, it was Charles Mintz, and Universal had the rights and distributed them

3) The advertising slogan for this (fourth) Herbie film was: 'Yes, We Have A ________' Banana is incorrect.
4) How many payphones are by the restrooms at Wolfgang Puck Express?

Both are correct. Isn't one a cafe and the other express?

(407) 827-9601, 9547, 9419 are the numbers.
