Disney word link game

OK I saw a variation of this on another site

Here's how it goes

I post a word or phrase related to Disney/ DisneyWorld and the next person responds with another word realted to that.

For example : I'll Post Castle

the next will post Cinderella

the next will post slipper

and so on and so on...... Got it! Ok I'll start !!

I'm a little confused here.

Aren't the words supposed to all be related in a chain? i.e. the original example:
1st post:
Cinderella

2nd post:
Cinderella
Castle

3rd post:
Cinderella
Castle
Slipper

We started with Mickey, then Mickey & Mouse, I though the next would have added something like 'red shorts' or 'Minnie'.

Right now, do we have any sort of a chain going, or is this free-association?

Free association is fun, too, but before we're hopelessly random, is that what this thread is supposed to do?

I thought I only had to relate to Mouse...so I went Mad tea party (doormouse)..and from Briar Rabbit to rabbit in Winnie the pooh...Sorry, I thought that's what we were doing.
