Please Check Your Signatures

It has come to the attention of the moderators that some signatures are too big. I know that we all like multiple countdowns and like to list how many times we were in WDW and where we stayed but we need to get them sized down.

Thanks for posting this Lori. While I am all for putting as much as you can squeeze into your signature... keeping it on a few lines is much preferred over a signature that is long than the actual thread the person is posting in. :lol:

I suppose most people (like me!) are just guilty of doing a little creative bragging. :oops:

I took a look at mine and made the recommended changes (It actually looks a little better :yes:)

Thanks for this. Running totals of which hotels people have stayed at over the past fifteen years, and multiple countdowns for upcoming trips over the next three years is a bit overkill.

As for me, I've got one trip I'm counting to and I've only lost one parent. Should be within the guidelines.

I guess I don't have much to brag about.

Signature Size and Guidelines
Hi everybody!


There has been a slight change to the requested size and length of your signatures in the forums. While many of the sigs are great, with wonderful pictures, etc., they sometimes get a little long, both horizontally and vertically. Plus, with so many long signatures, some pages take a long time to load, especially for people who are on dial-up connections, and can make the threads difficult to read..

So, here are the modifications to our Signature Guidelines:

1) Two pics per sig - thumbnail size (100x100) or actual thumbnail OK


100 x 100 Photo Example

2) Smilies are OK - no limit (within reason)
3) 1 countdown max

Technically you can only have 1 countdown in your signature. I've been known to bend that rule and have 2 on occasion but for the time being lets stick with 1 countdown.

I think im in compliance now. Changed it from a verticle list to horizontal.
