I don't have a clue but are the orange blanks supposed to be the letter E?

Yep - that's the starting point! So right off the bat I "give" you 3 of the 9 letters. For the rest .. don't think too deeply - there's no real deep meanings here.

The next easiest is #7 - again, keep it simple!
and
If you get #1, then #4 and #9 should follow easily.

Okay, that one was easy. Now that I've figured out after doing the library how your devious little mind works. I "gave myself a pat on the back," but I'd really prefer prizes. Especially cash.

KEEP IT SIMPLE. Each clue is for a letter of the alphabet - 9 letters total. But wait, there are only 6 written clues? Well, that big-E covers for 3 of the letters. Now start with the first written clue, what letter does it make you think of?
