Are the WDW character performer auditions only held in orlando because i live in dallas and it would really help to know that there are closer auditions. What if you get chosen to be a character performer or play a part in a show, how does that also work with having a job in the college program?

Unfortunately 99% of the WDW auditions are held in Orlando.

If you want to be a character performer for the CP, you have to audition in order to be considered as a character performer. For the CP, auditions are held around the US for students (this is one of the exceptions for the WDW auditions). For Spring 2010, there was an audition held in Austin (and should be there again for Fall 2010 auditions).
