Okay...
I was thinking Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser). He was in the original cast of Rent.
Someone else go.

Let's try another name that tune!
Name Song, Musical, and Character:

It was Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and the song is called "I Want It Now".

I'll try not to ***** this one up...
According to the song " Look At Me, I'm Sandra Dee"...who "was not brought up that way"?
Well the line is "Hey, watch it. I'm Doris Day. I was not brought up that way" and sung by the Rizzo character. But I think Rizzo is indirectly referring to the Sandy character, but the song is referring to Doris Day.

Correct...
Back at ya!
There are at least two musicals that started as regular films. They then became staged musicals; and then the musical became a film. Name both.

is one Pygmalion?
which became of course my fair lady
and anna and the king of Siam
which became the King and I?
Not the two I had in mind, they retained the same title throughout all 3 incarnations.Originally Posted by crashbunny

The stage musicals were based specifically on the original films, not reworkings of well known stories/plays/books. Then the staged musicals were filmed for theatrical release.
Did the stage musical version of MFL/K&I use the film version of Pygmalion/AatKOS exclusively?
Then again I did say at least 2....
Maybe I should reword the question:

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
Sorry, my question is not clear and probably too broad. I am scrapping my question. The answer I was looking for was Little Shop of Horrors and The Producers.
I'm going to pass the next Q over to Brian.:
