I am doing a combined one of these in my nieghborhood and at the BF's work and thot it would be fun to do a virtual one. These are slightly modified directions from the actual ones but if anyone likes the idea and wants to do it in person with friends/relatives/etc. let me know and I will message the real thing to you
The 2005 WHITE ELEPHANT EXCHANGE
Have you ever gotten an awful or just butt-ugly gift from someone that you really want out of your house? Or received a present that is nice but you have no earthly use for? Now here is your chance to make it GO AWAY! Wrap it up and bring it to this thread for the White Elephant Exchange A.K.A. The Get Rid of An Ugly Gift Exchange
Rules/Details:
1. It does not have to be a new item
2. Please try to give as detailed a description of the item as possible and the reason you want it out of your house or you can post a pic if you like
3. Please make it something of not much value, sentimental or monetary (don’t get rid of Granny’s favorite statue)
4. No food or perishable items
5. Spouses/Significant others/ Kids/Friends/Aunts/Uncles/Second Cousins Twice Removed/Etc..are able to participate and encouraged to do so–the more people the more fun it will be
6. Please try to make the item non-gender/age related as possible
7. Items must not be broken or dirty
8. Item must be something you already own–in other words don’t go buy something for this
9. If someone posts an item you like you may claim it for your own as long as you have posted one to give away
10. Once an item is claimed it is taken off the list
11. When posting an item please Cut And Paste the list to your post.

This is just something fun to do for the holidays that won’t eat into your budget. Lets have some fun and get a present(well a virtual one anyway) all at the same time. I will go first in the next post.
