I've seen this elsewhere and it was lots of fun, and got a good response, so I figured I'd propose it here...
Game:
Someone requests a photo of something specific (like a stuffed animal playing a guitar), and someone else has to take a photo of the request WITH their username in the photo (on a piece of paper or something). No photoshopping or anything like that. The person who fulfills the request gets to make the next request. Requests should be hard enough that someone has to actually do a bit of work to get it, but not so hard that it is impossible, or so rare that only a few people could actually fill the request (for instance, a picture of Mount Rushmore would only be able to be filled by a very few members - however, feel free to be creative. "Mount Rushmore" *could* just be a picture of Mount Rushmore...). If there is a dispute, the person who requested the picture decides whether the photo fulfills the request or not. Requests can also be funny. For example, a request of a photo of a real copy of windowsXP on a filesharing board might take quite a while to be completed. ;-)
Rules:
*You MUST have your username, hand written, in the photo.
*No image editing is permitted
*If the submitted item does not quite match up to the request.
but is the best that can be done, please wait for approval from the person who requested the item.
*You may not satisfy your own requests.
*Make your item requests in the same post as your photo.
*If you fill a request and do not post your own request (very) soon after, I will post a request in your place.
*Don't request the same objects as requested before, a couple of weeks after is fine though.
*2nd place for a request gets half a point (ie if you're the second person to fulfill a request. 2nd place does *not* get to request a new picture, though).
Scoring Rules:
*Score is tracked solely on the number of times you have fulfilled a request.
*All requests are worth one point.
*A score board will be updated as often as possible in this post.
Winning:
The contest will run for 2 months (until March 15th - I'll set an exact time when we get closer). At that time, the person with the highest score will win 1st place, and the next highest score will win 2nd place. In addition to 1st and 2nd, there will also be a Best Picture award. I will pick some pictures (probably between 5 and 10) and they will be voted on by all of us.
Prizes:
TBD
