Way back in the mid 90s before the popularity of internet message boards like DWT, people used to post on what is called USENET. It is still around, although a lot of ISPs are dropping access to it. So you are either forced to purchase your own access or go through google groups...blech. You can visit Google Groups (took over from the old Deja News) at http://groups.google.com/
Every conceivable topic has a group on it. Many, many of which are NOT moderated at all...this can be a blessing and a curse. A kill file becomes essential on some groups. Nowadays, I mainly lurk on RADP (rec.arts.disney.parks) and RATM (rec.arts.theatre.musicals). I was introduced to USENET in college where many of my classes had groups of their own.

Need the judges to deliberate on this one, either 5/10 or 7/10.
Thanks for the info Amanda:thumbs: , now what's scrapple??:scratchin
Regarding the laundry question, I mean currently in your life...do you use the washer exclusively to clean you clothes? I do because I don't wear/buy "dry clean only" anymore and "hand wash only" I use woolite, laundry bag, cold water, and the delicate cycle in the washer.
I think you can count the Advent calendars if someone in your household is using it.
Licorice I didn't specify red or black, but I meant black. However since I didn't specify, you could count red licorice...although it is hardly the same as real black licorice.
Okay...let's examine the word SCRAPple. Notice something about the first 5 letters? That's your first clue. ;) Essentially, scrapple is mush of scraps (mainly offal & other things people find gross) leftover after the pig is butchered that is combined with spices and cornmeal into a loaf. Homemade recipes usually include "nicer" cuts of meat, but they tend to be blander. Some commercial makers also produce beef and turkey varieties now, but again they aren't as good. It is then usually sliced and fried and served as a breakfast meat. Many people prefer to eat this with pancakes/waffles/french toast because the syrup from them gets onto the scrapple. Others use ketchup on their scrapple. We can thank <?> the Pennsylvania Dutch (really German) for this culinary wonder of sorts. Scrapple is primarily found in the greater Philly area including the surrounding states of DE, NJ, and MD. I honestly have never seen it outside this region. And the only people who seem to eat scrapple that I have noticed are those of us who were raised with it...and even many of them won't go near it anymore! I have NEVER seen anyone move to this region of the USA and start eating scrapple...because when you think about what it is...it is kinda gross. Many people cannot get past what it is made from to even try it. So, I usually have to suspend belief while I eat it and I only eat RAPA brand which is produced in Delaware. My DH won't even try it, but he's not from around here. So...I can't even really buy it anymore. I have to go to my mom's house when she serves it.
