Hi guys! I'm new to this whole hidden mickey thing but thought it might be fun to search out some hidden mickeys on my next trip. Do yall have any tips on how to find them? Are the books helpful? Is this more of an optical illusion thing or something you have to look hard at to see a hidden mickey?
The books are helpful. I personally enjoy trying to hunt them down on my own. A favorite past time of mine!
The book to get is "Hidden Mickeys" by Steve Barrett. The third edition came out a month or so ago, and is the most up-to-date.
He's the expert on Hidden Mickeys!
His site is Hidden Mickeys Guide : A Field Guide to Walt Disney Worlds Best Kept Secrets - you'll find the definition of a hidden Mickey, lots of photos, even some questionable ones you can vote on!
Some are easy to find, some near impossible, but that's part of the fun.
I'd be interested to. I've seen the books but maybe there is a website someone knows a link to. Would be a great way to pass some of the time waiting in lines etc.

Thanks! I heard about the book but wasn't sure if it was any good or not. So I'm gussing editions just mean updates from prior edition not like book 1, book 2, book 3 etc where you'd need all 3 right?Quote:

Okay if you want to find hidden mickeys go on the Epcot or the Fort Wilderness Segway Tour. They are a lot of fun and show you lots of them. Did you know that there are 23 in the Wilderness Lodge alone?
