Ace - What HM are you looking for here? The one in the grass? or the Mickey that is supposed to be in one of the buildings?

I am going Friday - I can try to get a pic if you let me know exactly what you are looking for!

    1 hr....

thanks for the offer!! I was there last week for almost three days doing nothing but taking photos for book and site (over 3000 in all)... as I figured, I left some things out... like the Mickeys in germany. If you happen to be there, and can get an image of both, that would be great, thanks!!!!

And hey, since you took 'em, post them here for everyone to see!
    :lookaroun

Thanks again!! and WELCOME to the forums!!! Spread the word!!!

Ace - I am sorry to say, that I do not have any HM's from the Germany train scene to share.

The Mickey figurine from the castle was not there. The grass was all brown and unkempt looking, so there was no HM in the grass. Lastly, I had heard there was an auto garage scene with spare tires forming a HM, but alas they were not there either!

I will keep my eyes peeled in the future though!

Oh I feel so embarrassed that I don't have that photo on this computer (I do have it at home). I have dozens of Hidden Mickey photos which I have collected and, if I remember, the first one that I took would be the train in Germany. I'll try to find it at home and post it for you.

We were there last week, and followed the directions in the Hidden Mickey book faithfully, but couldn't find the HM in the train exhibit. Of course, the book also says that HM's in this exhibit tend to come and go... Makes one wonder why it's even mentioned, if that's the case...

I have recently come to learn that all of the HMs in the tiny town are gone for some reason.

I'll forward this info onto my publisher (who also published Steve's Hidden Mickeys book)

The ones in Germany have been gone for some time. For those of you who have a Pal Mickey he still goes off next to the train scene and tells you there is a HM nearby. I have asked Disney about it several times, still no reply.

I saw that last time I was there... There was a couple going crazy with the HM book looking for it, and I tried to explain that it, like others sometimes do, was gone. They didn't belive me and I think there may still be there looking!

OK - Sorry for the delay but I finally was able to find the two photos that I took back in 2000 of the hidden Mickey in Germany. I posted the two photos over in the photo area under Hidden Mickeys. Enjoy!

    Lou,

The Mickey Mouse figurine in a window of the castle at the rear of the miniature train area seems to come and go. Cast members put it there sometimes and then remove it; I don't consider it permanent. A permanent Hidden Mickey is in the church. In the middle of the front section of the exhibit, tiny brown Hidden Mickeys formed by the top of Mickey's head are in the frieze above the church entrance door that faces the small plaza.
