I know at the Wilderness Lodge you can go to the front desk and get a paper which lists the hidden Mickeys in that resort, I'm guessing that most of the resorts have something like that.:mickeykid
If you like Hidden Mickeys.. I honestly suggest getting Steve's book. It's amazing. I did it for the first time in 2009 and plan on doing it on my trip in a few days. It makes the wait in the queue go quicker and it also allows you to strike up conversation with the people around you. Other guests always started asking me questions about it and would help me find hidden mickeys that I could not find. It was a lot of fun and a great experience!
I have steve's book and I'm a regular donater to his website. I just wanted to know what your favorites are so I can try to find them.
Well I haven't actually seen this hidden Mickey (yet) but if you go up in the balloon at DTD there is supposed to be a large hidden mickey on one of the rooftops. :mickeykid
My 2 favorites are.. The "Cloud Mickey" in the Zipadeedoodah room on Splash Mountain and the large tiles in the main lobby of the Polynesian.
My favorites and a couple that I found this trip...
The plate and saucers in The Haunted Mansion ballroom scene (this one is not always there though).
The hidden Donald in the red chair in The Haunted Mansion.
The cloud mickey in Splash Mountain.
The fishing bobbers in Splash Mountain.
The golf ball and fireworks in Soarin'.
The refrigerator in the queue of the Backlot Tour.
The breakfast plate in the upside down open house room on Journey into Imagination.
One of the banners hanging overhead on the Grand Fiesta Tour.
The hidden Tinkerbell in the Storytime with Belle theater (this is currently closed I believe).
The hidden 20,000 Leagues sub on the tree outside of the Pooh ride (unfortunately it is currently hidden behind a wall.
The three gauges in the exit queue of Tower of Terror. They are in the room where they show the on ride photos.
The planet earth in Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. My daughter found that one this year.
As Lou says, always look up and look down. You will be amazed at what you can find.
Oh, and another new one that we saw on Friday...
Duffy's face. (Duffy is the new character that Disney has created for the World Showcase. I'm sure you can find info here about him. We saw Disney setting up for a video shoot with Duffy on the Grand I at the Grand Floridian.)
This year we spotted, at Animal Kingdom, a shaved sheep with a hidden mickey tuft of fleece remaining - made us all smile!
In the Great Movie Ride I love Mickey's feet below the poster and in a high window you can see his profile!
