My daughter has been obsessed with them since we started going to WDW when she was 5. Now she's 9 and just got an iPod Touch for her birthday, along with Stephen Barrett's App! She is already working on her checklist with the app even though the next trip is in June.
I have to admit that for me, it adds some interest to the trip since we've been there so many times. It's fun to help her in her quest.
And believe me, once you've gotten used to spotting the HM's, you will see them EVERYWHERE, not just WDW... you can't NOT! so just give in. lol

Yes, mostly I do. It is ashame when people pass by things and miss the stories and the laughter behind it. I love finding fasinating new things each new trip!

Hubby and I always carry our Steve Barrett Hidden Mickey book about with us - really enhances the trip and adds a bit of additional fun when touring the parks.

I try to look. It's kinda funny though. Some are incredibly obvious and yet some people don't see them. Yet, those people always see the hrad ones. We always have someone like that in our line and I learn quite a bit. I usually try to look for them myself. And occasionally the people with the books will point to one so I can see it. And there is still one HM people who had the book looked for and found, but didn't point to it. I know it's general area. And know I consider it a challenge to find it every time I go back!!!!![]()

On our last trip my daughter and I made a game of it. Hidden Mickey Bingo! Our Resort and the 4 Parks were the columns. We then choose 5 Hidden Mickeys from each location and tried to find and photograph them all. It was fun, some were gone which made it harder!![]()
That is an awesome idea doombuggy!
