Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I've never been to Disney World (although I've been to Disneyland many times), but I'm going there this Wednesday! I'm so excited that I have been neglecting my summer school homework and MCAT studying for about a week now, just so I can read about the park.
Anyway, on to the point. I love searching for hidden Mickeys at Disneyland (the best ones are on the Indiana Jones ride), so I'll be searching Disney World as soon as I get there. In the Hidden Mickeys Q & A on this website, one statement that caught my eye was "I picked up Disney's "Official" list of Hidden Mickeys from guest services." Is this true? Can I ask somebody for a list of Hidden Mickeys at the park, and if so who do I ask?

I have an "official" HM list that was given to me by a CM last year. It may be slightly outdated, but I will try and scan it in and post it here.
You may also want to contact Steve Barrett, the author of the Hidden Mickeys book, who is a member here and get his take on it.

Disney's "Official" Hidden Mickey list is incomplete and generally not kept up to date. Some cast members will have access to it, but not consistently. I hope you enjoyed WDW, and good luck on the MCAT.

Steve; I saw your book in Chapters a few months ago when we were planning our upcoming trip and I LOVE it!! My DD8 loves scavenger hunts so we will have a great time finding HMs.

Thanks for the kind comments! A few of the Hidden Mickeys in the book have been lost, and a few new ones have appeared. I'll be updating the book this fall. I'll be leading some HM hunts this December at MouseFest (Lou has a trivia contest scheduled as well!). Maybe I'll see you there?

Does anyone know about how many hidden Mickey's there are? I am sure this question has already been asked. Did anyone ever get that list?

the list we got was very outdated

Too many Mickey's to list. There is no official list, but Steve's book and severl sites online are a great way to start.
