Thanks for the link to your 1996 trip report. Seeing those photos did bring back a lot of memories. I didn't realize how much I missed the skyway! In the one shot you can also see the 20,000 Leagues attraction off to the right . . . . ah, those were the days! Can you possibly answer one question, though - what was up with the color of the castle in '96?? I was there at some point that year but I don't have a vivid memory of it looking like that!

That was when they painted it pepto-bismol pink, stuck inflatable 'icing' on it, and turned it into the giant birthday cake for WDW's 25th anniversary.
