Old Epcot

Alec Tronic, Tom Morrow, Bill Nye The Science Guy, and many others-talk about them here.

I can't say that I do but maybe if I saw a pic of him but I can tell you what I miss about old Epcot. One thing they no longer have that was great for guests is you could go to these computer like screens but I think I remember you being able to see the CM on the screen and you would be able to find out what availability there was for lunch or dinner. Hard to believe they don't implement something like that now. Of course I miss Horizons, I wonder if Disney is kicking themselves for that blunder? And of course Journey into Imagination, I miss the original show but I really miss the part upstairs, we use to spend alot of time up there, between that and the old innoventions they were both great time killers so you weren't constantly standing on lines.

YouTube - Tom Morrow
Tom Morrow. CoP's theme song is in here!

YouTube - Alec Tronic's Presidents' Rap
Alec Tronic does the President's Rap!

YouTube - Audio Animatronics at it's best
What an era when dancers try to move like robots and robots try to move like dancers.

I wasn't around at the time of these 3 vids since I am only 11 years old, but from what I've seen, it looks like I missed out!

I was recently cleaning out my grandmother's house, and found a tour book called "Walt Disney World EPCOT Center: A Pictorial Souvenir" dating from 1982. It's absolutely amazing, although I'm sad that I missed some of the stuff in there...the huge amazing light wall for Universe of Energy, Chromakey from Journey into Imagination, Universe of Motion..

GIOny, I think you're talking about Communicore.
