Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

They took out the random drop sequence and have gone with a fixed sequence. That part isn't too bad, but they've covered over most of the Fifth Dimension area to do a really cheesy effect instead.

Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

Hopefully not. They said it was for the summer, but then again, they said that for the Electrical Parade.

Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

Here to stay, but under a different name.

Why change "Main Street Electrical Parade" to the more mundane "Disney's Electrical Parade". **** them and their branding.

Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

It was renamed Disney's Electrical Parade when it was revived and placed in Disney California Adventure which doesn't have a Main Street.

Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

And I guess once they changed the drum, they wouldn't spend the $$ to change it back. They even updated the opening announcement to reflect the name change.

Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

It's not listed, but it would be changing Journey Into Imagination in 1999.

I guess I'll go with changing The Seas....its still good, just not as good as it was.

Re: What Was Disney's BIGGEST Mistake?

I think they replaced a bad ride with a worst ride when they got rid of Alien Encounter and replaced it with Stich...I really can't even stand the cartoon series let alone the ride.
