I voted for 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea mainly because it has not been replaced with something else. My other favorite, Mr. Toad, at least was replaced with something. Everytime I walk past the 20K "pool" it taunts me! I wish they'd put something in there!

I also miss the Skyway.

I believe that they cannot put anything at 20,000 LUTS. I recall reading that there was major diesel leaks into the ground. With how that stuff seeps they would probably have to excavate very deep and wide. With the tunnels etc. it may never happen.

There was just a very good picture of Skyway posted this week on Post a Picture. Brought back good memories.

I voted for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It's not only one of my favorite books, but I LOVED the ride. It's the one solid memory I have from going to Disney World when I was little.

Thank you for pointing these links out. They were awesome!

I chose Horizons. If I could have, I would have chosen EPCOT Center, as I still call it. That park really exhibited the future in the mid 80s. At 3 years old, I visited that park for the first time in 1984 and enjoyed it more than the Magic Kingdom. The unfortunate fact is that things have to change. As much as I wish I could have enjoyed the 80s era EPCOT longer, it would be a sad joke if it never changed. That's totally opposite of what Walt wanted. For those of you who just can't get enough of the old attractions, I recommend Jeff Lange DVD The Best in Theme Park DVDs He has a lot of extinct attraction dvds. I own a few of them, and they are done very professionally, and not very expensive.

I would have to say Horizons, The Living Seas, Kitchen Kabaret, Journey Into Imagination, Skyway and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

I think DWT should make a pilgimage to Disneyland, just to visit the Toad in protest.

The Biggest mistake isn't even on the list. It was tearing out the Main Street Cinema screens.

Walt is turning over in his grave right now because the Disney executives want to sell a couple more souvenirs where Steamboat Willie should be playing in a loop. It's a disgrace!

Walt never wanted us to forget that it was all started by a mouse. Well unless it gets in the way of making a few extra bucks.
