mr.toads wild ride is still in disneyland
It actually is still in Disneyland. I rode it the last time I went. As for any of them being a mistake, maybe Toad in Disney World but you got a popular property in Winnie The Pooh taking it's spot. Everything that was removed on that list was removed for a reason. World of Motion was another omnimover which GM did not want to foot the bill of anymore, Horizons lost its sponsor and was built on a sink-hole, Adventures Through Inner Space became Disneyland's Star Tours, Kitchen Kabaret/Food Rocks was taken out for Soarin'(HUGE upgrade for the pavilion), 20,000 Leagues was not efficient, El Rio De Tiempo got re-themed to make it more relevant to kids by adding(yet another) character to Epcot, Doug Live! was put in when Doug was already on a downslide, Timekeeper got people sick sometimes with the swooping motions of circlevision 360, Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland and Rainbow Caverns were turned into Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Captain EO was removed mostly due to Michael Jackson's own exploits. The others I cannot delve into as I do not exactly know the speifics of the attractions and the closures.

Not being old enough to witness it, I wish that 20,000 leagues under the sea were at Dw. I want to ride i very much.

I picked Alien Encounter as I enjoyed that it was a 'scary' almost adult attraction in the Magic Kingdom. I ran to get on it on my first visit after it opened, and it was always the first thing i went on in MK. I miss it (Pouty sad face as i type!)
Oh and my dad and sister miss the foot-long hot dog cart more than anything else (which i think was near the glass shop on Main Street) hahahaha! Does anyone know where I can secretly take them to get one? (I wasnt sure Casey's Corner sold the foot-longs!)
Makes me remember the afternoons of waiting for the parade and seeing who can eat the most/quickest!

I still miss Mr Toad, Horizons and Motion. I think Alien/Stitch was a really bad move and they should get rid of it and start again.
I really miss Wonder's of Life! It's really sad to see it just closed like that since nothing new is coming in. It makes me very depressed. I loved the old El Rio Del Tiempo and even though I like the new one, I believe the old one was more educational. Some of these attractions I wasn't even born to see but i've seen some online and they were great and it was a really bad move on Disney's part to take some of them away.
I hope we never lose sight of one thing, that it was all started by a mouse.
I voted Alien Encounter, because I did enjoy that attraction. However, I don't mind Stitch's Great Escape. I think it has some funny moments, and I enjoy hearing people's reaction to the chili dog.
I also don't think that these moves are necessarily mistakes. We all have favorite attractions and we hate seeing them go, but the parks have to evolve somehow. I really believe what Disney said about Disneyland never being finished, and I think that goes for WDW as well. I hate seeing some of my favorites go away, but I'm always excited for the future. Even if I don't like the new attractions as well, I'm reluctant to call those changes mistakes.
Maybe someday we'll get that mysterious fifth gate, and maybe it will be a park that pays homage to all these favorite attractions of yesterday. Wouldn't that be awesome!?! (Hey, I can dream.)
I picked Horizons. I still get sad as I approach the area where Mission:Space now sits.![]()
I loved the Timekeeper. It was a wonderful show. I really miss himPlease bring the cute Timekeeper and 9-Eye back!!

As Chairman of X-S Tech, my obvious choice would be Alien Encounter.
In addition, I miss Horizons and Mr. Toad.
