Did they take the Chilli Dog out of Stitch? We were there 2 weeks ago, and it was still strong as ever.

Isn't WDW just a people trap operated by a mouse?

Maybe you know this, but there are still three remaining penny arcade machines located inside the train station on Main Street! As of a few years ago they were still functional! I miss those too...what else is there to do while waiting for the parade anymore, right?
"T'weren't nuthin, ma'am. That's what us legends do."
I miss the chicken wings at Tomorrowland Terrace.
I miss the Rainbow tunnel in Dreamworks...Heck! I miss ALL of the old stuff in dreamworks: the magic pen paintings of figment and Dreamfinder, the pin tables (where did THEY go, do you think?) The kaleidoscopes (sp?)....and the REAL stepping tones!!! I can remember jumping up and down OVER and OVER on the one that sounded like a horse galloping!
I miss the kodak picture contest displays in Journey.
I miss the all white/pastel room in Journey.
I miss the penny arcade.
I miss the preshow to Magic Journeys/Captain EO...that was AMAZING.
I miss the moving panel preshow for Universe of ENERGY!!!! *listen and you'll hear the heartbeat...of a Universe teeming with force....*
I miss the old sunshine season food fair in the LAND!!!!!!! I want my baked potato back.
I miss the queue area of Horizons. A lot. Not sure why.
I miss the old Diamond Horseshoe show.
I miss the old communicores where you watched the population grow in number, where you could mix paints to match colors, where you could use the robot arms to move the little chemistry flasks, the robot arms that spun the tops, the robot that drew you (badly, i might add, but still cool as heck!)....AND THE ASTUTER COMPUTER REVUE! anyone remember it?
So maybe not just little stuff...but they all make me all 'oobly' inside when I think of 'em.

TurtleShakChick saidSince that show left back in 1984, I don't think many people will remember it. They may remember the replacement Backstage Magic more. Similar show same location.....AND THE ASTUTER COMPUTER REVUE! anyone remember it?

I miss the service. The CMs are generally still very good but everytime I go to WDW it seems like something is cut, or is lower quality. Simpl things lik the toiletries they provide in the rooms, the changes to the packages, the changes to the dining plan. All those little things. It just seems like everytime I go back it is less for more.
I always still love it.

The second floor hasn't been open to "guests" since the first refurb (when Figment came out) BUT on some of the behind the scenes tours at Epcot folks have gotten to go up there and in doing so seen that many of the little things we remember from the old Imageworks up there are still there, just not in operation (i.e. the rainbow tunnel).
Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World.

As some folks have said, there are a lot of big things I miss (i.e. Horizons, the original Imagination Pavillion, 20,000 Leagues, Mr. Toad, the Skyway, etc.) but there are a few smaller details that I miss as well...
1) The trees that used to be out front of the castle
2) The days when one car went through the GMR at a time
3) Wandering Characters without lines and bodygaurds
This list could go on for days but that's a start. LOL!!

Here's a short list of some of the little things I miss at Walt Disney World:
- seeing the Chinese Theatre as soon as you entered Hollywood Studios
- when the Magic of Disney Animation actually had animators inside working
- making 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea a playground
- the parrot that is now missing outside of Pirates of the Caribbean
- the limited number of charcters you see around the parks
