Was he a real person? Or was his name a pun on Michael Eisner?
-
I remember my family sitting down to lunch in the Tomorrow Land Terrace only to find out that he was going to be playing soon. We loved it.
Thanks for the memories, I haven't thought about him in years!

YES!!!!! We found him by accident in the Tomorrowland Terrace, and after that, we never missed a show. I have all his CDs...and while emailing him, I found out that he lives TEN MINUTES FROM ME. How weird is that?!?!?

Nope, I don't remember, but I was only 5 in 1977-how long was he there?
I am in need of some Disney magic!!

-
He was there until 1982 or so, then moved out to Disneyland. Imagine my surprise when we went out there and saw him in Tomorrowland...!! He is the best entertainer.

Yes, I most certainly do. As a matter of fact I am listening to Mariah right now. I am so pleased that other people are fans of Michael Iceberg. I saw him at WDW in the early 80s and then got to meet him when he played a concert at the Univ of Mo. in Columbia. I was a security guard back stage. When he finished playing he walked over and shook my hand and then signed an album (remember what those are?). I will never forget when he shook my hand - his hand was...sort of tingling... Hard to explain but it was as if the engergy of the Pyramid was flowing through them
Thanks for making me remembering that! Great memories! Where does he live now? Does he still perform? I would love to have my kids experience him like I did!

Oh My Gosh! Michael Iceberg! Yes, he was awesome, I actually audiotaped him all those years ago. I remember doing a search on him sometime ago, I thought he had an album out? I'll have to find that tape!
-
If you do find that tape give Lou first shot at using it on his podcast! I bet he'd like that!

I remember him! He and his iceburg machine used to come up from the floor. The stage would rise and he would be there. My brother and used to run up front to try and see what was under the stage.
