I Remember... Lost Attractions of WDW & More Discuss If you could bring back one attraction... in the I Remember... forums; For me Its really too hard to choose. Horizons? WoM? Dream Flight? Gotta be Horizons. What a shame its not there anymore....

    Missin' that Skyway

    After much thought, I think I miss the Skyway the most at WDW! I always got a lil down when I would see the Skyway Station between Liberty Square and Fantasyland knowing that something special had been there before.

    Mr. Toad & Horizons are missed a lot as well.

    I miss the double-decker bus they had that went around World Showcase. I remember when DH and I were there for our honeymoon we were the only people on the bus in the morning. We got to talking to the bus driver and he learned that it was our honeymoon. For the rest of the afternoon whenever he'd pass us by on the WS promenade he made sure everyone around knew it was our honeymoon. It was soooo sweet and I just loved it :-)

    What I find kind of funny on the list is the one about make it just like opening day, yet there are only 4 attractions on that list that existed on opening day:

    Skyway
    Mr. Toad
    Mickey Mouse Review
    Tiki Room


    Flight to the Moon didn't open until December and was changed to Mission to Mars in 1975
    If You Had WIngs didn't open until June of 1972
    Electrical Parade started in 1977
    Alien Encounter in the 90s

    The rest are Epcot attractions.....

    Just interesting...I loved Disney on opening day, but I am also glad that changes have come...

    I voted for the Skyway - I use to love to get sneak peeks at the areas of the park we weren't able to see. However, I miss Horizons, too. BUT...... I REALLY miss 20,000 Leagues and that is the attraction I would love to see be brought back!

    I would love to see the Enchanted Tiki Room returned to it's original form. Now it's just a whole lot of yelling; we have never returned.

    I used to like looking at the skyway, but being afraid of hanging suspended in the air, it makes the choice a lot easier.
