What I remember most of it though, was the best Cupcake I ever had. Mickey's Birthdayland opened in 1988. I don't remember the cupcakes, but there are some photos from it in my gallery:

I remember Mickey's Starland, which came after Mickey's Birthdayland. There are so many past attractions that I wish that I could have seen, sad really. But there's also the attractions of my childhood that are being replaced. It's weird to think of really. That I experienced Mickey's Starland and Submarine Lagoon whereas the next generation will not.

Hmm... I was Disney deprived from 1986 to 2000, so I don't remember Mickey's Birthday Land.

While I don't remember the cupcakes, I certainly remember Mickey's Bday Land. :mickey: It was lots of fun when I was a kid and experienced it. I remember waiting in live to meet Mickey in his "dressing room" and I was thrilled when I got up to him and had my picture taken, as well as the big hug he gave me.

I remember not liking the "Birthday" Land theme at all.. I guess to save face on such a mistake (as if the 20k removal wasn't enough), you might as well call it toon town.. that's cheaper than tearing it down.

I remember the show with Darkwing Duck and Launchpad when it was Starland. Birthday land was ok, but I was only excited because I got to meet lots of cool characters there. I remember hearing a rumor that they were going to open Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin in MGM when they were building Sunset Blvd. I wish they would, but I guess Roger isn't nearly as popular anymore.

I remember Birthday Land and having Duck Tales there but only vaguely remember the cupcakes. I remember the song that was during the parades during this time. "America loves you Mickey Mouse . da da daa da da da da dada" It still runs through my head to this day...not quite as bad as IASW but close.
