MGM Studios Stage Show

So my father brought me the photo albums from our Disney trips I took as a child with him and in the one he has labeled as 1989 there are photos from a trip I took with my then best-friend (now my step-sister). Among them there are shots from MGM Studios. Being that it opened in May 1989 these shots have to be not long after the opening.

Anyway, in the album there are shots of a stage show, a big stage show. It appears to maybe be on the same stage Beauty and the Beast is on now. It features a lot of dancers along with tons of characters, all in white. Everyone from Mickey to Donald to Tigger and Roger Rabbit!

I'm working on scanning the photos in now but in the meantime, anyone know what this show was?

Well, the "new" theater of the stars was built in 1993 or 1994. I saw Beauty in the location that is now the start of Sunset Blvd.

It may have been Hollywood Hollywood

i dont recall the show but i have pics of a different show around the same time i think it was minnies birthday or somthing,

That same year was when Mickey's Birthdayland was open in the Magic Kingdom and there was a "Mickey's Birthday Party" show. That may be what you're thinking.

I saw Beauty and the Beast in the area near where that bakery is, behind the small pin station.
It had minimal seating, as I recall.
