| 20,000 leagues under the sea I miss the old 20,000 leagues ride. That was really great. I believe they have a version at Tokyo Disney! Dan DisneyHomeVideo |

| I wouldn't call it one of my favorites, but I kinda miss it too, especially since they didn't really change it into anything else except a meet-and-greet spot. I go to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. sometimes and watch the 20,0000 Leagues Under The Sea ride-through video they have on there when I start to miss it.

| 20,000 Leagues was a favorite of mine growing up as a kid. I epsecially like the 'submerge' part where you really felt like the sub was diving! I understand that the attraction was very expensive to maintian, which makes sense. I also think that it didn't connect as much with today's guests - which is understandable for an attraction based on a 1954 movie. Progress...

| There is an awesome dedication site that I visit frequently. There's a section of photos taken behind the scenes as the ride was dismantled that are not for the faint of heart. I was literally in tears as I went through them. Still, the site has some fantastic information and great ride shots and video. I love it. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - The Ride I also posted a thread a few months back with a google image of the horribly barren site as it now sits. http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/for...0-leagues.html Needless to say, I have to put the fact that it once stood (or floated) where my son loves to run and play, out of my head on our trips. I did find the wonderful sub carving in Pooh's tree on this last trip though finally! At least WDI felt paying homage was needed!

| As a kid, it was my favorite Disney movie. I remember when we first went to WDW in '74, it was the ride I rode most. I even talked my parents out of their tickets (remember tickets?) and used them for the last rides before we left. |
