| Please help! Didn't STAR TOURS used to be in Epcot? I have a huge bet with my son on this! I could swear that about 10 years ago the Star Tours ride used to be in Epcot but my son says no way. Please help! Thanks, Vicky  |

 | Sorry, Vicky, but your son is right. It was built in Disney-MGM Studios and opened there in 1990. You may be thinking of Body Wars, which was in Epcot's Wonders of Life pavilion. It actually opened before Star Tours and used a similar flight simulator cabin.

If it was not so much a similar ride vehicle you are recalling, but rather the "outer space" setting, then perhaps you are thinking of Horizons, which had some scenes set in space, or going back a bit further in time Captain Eo was also set in space. | |

Right, and they even used the same footage as when you break through the ice crystal in Star Tours as part of the Body Wars ride, only this section was red/orange instead of blue/white. | |
