I suggest being more respectful of Ms. Dench. She's just as great as either Cronkite or Irons.
And Irons' narration is not the "original" narration of the ride either. :p
LOL, are you the: cant talk bad about judy police?
And, no she is not anyway near the level of Cronkite or Irons.
She just isnt.
I do like the ride and it is still one of my favourites.
It could be worse, they could have let Fran Dresher do the narration...
Seriously though, disagreements are good.
If we all agreed 100% of the time, wouldnt the Nation be a boring place.
But i DO love SSE...no matter who is the narrator.

I'd love to see a lot of things happen to SSE. Out of all of the narrations, I like the Jeremy Irons the best. He has this voice that pierces right through you. It is not hostile, it is not friendly, it is just there, as if it was there since the beginning of time. However, I do like the song Tomorrow's Child from (i believe it was) the Cronkite version. I dispise the touch screens. They should be in the post show. They're a very cool concept, and don't get me wrong, but I don't want to be watching an e-surance commercial with me in it in place of what used to be a set of AA scenes (even if they were old) and my favorite part of the old ride, the Light city. But I know not everyone feels that way...
So to sum it up:
SSE - touch screens, Judi + Jeremy Irons, Ending scenes, tomorrow's child.
Post Show +Touch Screens
P.S. No matter what I say about it, I still love the ride and ride it every time, I just think it could be better...It also seems to lack the Climax of the ride that the other versions had. The score just kind of changes into the decent score without any crescendo.
The Golden age never was the present age… but with human liberty we can fulfill the promise and meaning of America. To everyone a chance. To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. This is the promise of America...And I foresee the American adventure to continue for a long, long time!

Are you 23? I am!
I am a big fan of the Jeremy Irons narration. That may be because I don't remember too much about the Cronkite version because of my age. I do love Tomorrow's Child though.
I also miss the great music in the Iron's version. When the music would swell as you rounded the corner to see the Earth I would get goose bumps everytime. In my opinion, the new version has no goose bump moments.

Walter Cronkite always sounded pretentious to me.
Hey any knock on judi dench is not a knock on her personally... she just does not have the voice that carries the way uncle walter or jeremy "scar" irons does...
I think that having cronkite and irons option would be interesting... but... they would have to redo the ending of the ride among other things... but... i think that would be awesome option...
