It's like a SSE experience but focusing on the development of the automobile. It was a lot like SSE, to me.

Ah, okay that's cool. Wish I could have done it. I really needed to have been born in the 70s so I could experience all this stuff. I'll finally get to experience Captain Eo when I go back to Disneyland. Not an enormous fan of Michael, but it's Disney history. Gotta do it.

Wow I feel old explaining what World of Motion was. It was basically the history of transportation. Much like how Spaceship Earth is set up.

HA I was born in 85. But yeah, Captain EO is a weak point of EPCOT's history though.

    Re: "Minusing"

That's why I have't commented too much on this thread. I don't know what the current-day things were to know how these things have been minused. I'm able to go every 5 years-ish too. That doesn't help.

    Re: "Minusing"

Your posts are still appreciated; even though you're not semi-old like me.

I am fortunate that I live here in Florida and I've gone so many times I don't even know the number.
My kids think it's a guaranteed right to go to WDW twice a year.

    I consider myself semi-young

I maybe 19 on the outside, but I'm 7 on the inside

I'll try to think of something that I believe to have been minused

    Re: "Minusing"

After giving this some serious thought, I can legitimately say that nothing "big" has been minused for me. A couple factors go into this conclusion. The fact that I was born in '90 and how often I'm able to go is the two leading factors.

Being born in '90, I was raised with Michael Eisner. Bob Iger is one big plus in his own right. That also being said, I didn't truly get interested in Disney until the change of the millennium and didn't start following the business aspect until the last few years. By that time I would be 10 years old and old enough to start caring about things. So you being semi-old, elvistelth, your baseline of the parks are based out of the 80s when World of Motion and such was around. My base line is basically what you see today. i.e. Tiki Room Under New Management and etc.

To date, my WDW trips have been in the years 1993 (2 yrs old), 1998 (7), 2000 (9), 2008 (17) along with a few Disneyland trips scattered in there. As you can see from my WDW trips, they're few and far between. Anywhere from 5-10 years usually. I don't really notice a difference in the small things versus the large attractions like the you can because you can go twice a year and such.

But as far as an attraction that I miss, I miss the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. I thought the big Epcot 2000 was cool, but the Epcot logo on SSE was lame and stayed up way too long.

i remember WoM as being like Spaceship Earth, just as a history of transportation...
