    (About the lack of burgers)
Yeah, fair enough! To be honest, I haven't eaten from there in a while anyway, and the food is exactly the same everywhere in the Magic Kingdom, baring a few of course.

As far as I remember from the last time I rode Pooh....last year, this was somewhere near the beginning of the ride when the house is shaking. it is actually a pic of Mr. Toad handing SOMETHING (popularly believed to be a deed) to Owl (not rabbit, as this part is in Owl's house) and is on the left side of the house, when you are looking at the wall, to the far left side. I don't know if it's been removed but if it has, that's just.....wrong. Can anyone else confirm that this drawing is missing?

    Adventureland Veranda?

Reading the post(s) about missing cheeseburgers, I was suddenly struck with a childhood memory I had forgotten until now. Does anyone remember an eatery (I think called Adventureland Veranda....in Adventureland....durrr)? I remember eating something called the "Polynesian Burger" that had mushrooms and was just the shizzzz-nite! I was upset one day years ago b/c I wanted my parents to take us there for lunch and the restaurant and burgers were gone....I could be fuzzy on the name of the eatery and the burger b/c it's been since I was a child but somehow I really think that's what they were called. I guess I remembered that burger b/c almost all other WDW fast food is total ****....

frozen bananas & carpet ride in Tomorrowland

chocolate-dipped frozen bananas...Can't find them in MK anymore. Okay, this is a food, not an attraction.

I vaguely remember the carpet ride in Tomorrowland (pre-stitch, pre-AE), but in that location I think.

Really miss If you had wings --nice and cool in there in the heat of the summer.

Very excited that It's a Small world has finally reopened

I remember the bananas... they were kinda gross and mushy, for me.

Very excited too to see Small World again (in it's bling bling)!

    WELCOME ALS!!!! WOOHOO!

I enjoyed River Country. I liked the tube ride down. It got you wet but not soaked like some others. I was sorry to see it closed but could understand that most people wanted to go to the big water parks. There wasn't any waiting to go down at RC.

I miss 20,000 and If you had wings and have one vague memory Magic Journeys. Looking forward to the Jungle Cruise since I missed it last time-ran out of time last trip.

I didn't know River Country was gone...bummer. I've never been to any of the water parks, beleive it or not, but that's the one I always wanted to go to first b/c it seemed....calmer.....I don't like big water slides just like I don't like thrill rides.

Just got back from WDW last night and we had the best time (again)! We did the Jungle Cruise AT NIGHT which was really neat. I couldn't believe that on Sunday night MK was open until midnight. From 10-11:15 we hit 8 attractions!! Walked right on to Alladin's flying carpets, Jungle Cruise, Snow White's Scary Adventure, Carousel, Buzz Lightyear, watched 10 minutes of fireworks, AND rode Goofy's Barnstormer twice in a row without having to get off cause there wasn't a line! Then we rode the train from Mickey's toontown right to the front of the park and avoided the mainstreet squeeze (what I like to call it when people are trying to leave the park all at once!). We had another perfect WDW vacation It didn't even rain as the weatherfolks predicted!

    Eggroll cart

You could get a traditional eggroll, or a pizza eggroll and I believe there was yet one more eggroll. I just remember it being the snack that hit the spot and would carry me through the day.
The eggroll cart is now situated closer to Swiss Family Robinson entrance (near the alcove that Jafar, Aladdin and Jasmine hang out)

I posted earlier about the Chocolate-covered bananas and discovered that they still sell them at some of the carts, but most of the carts don't have them "advertised" on the picture menu!!

alsgirl - Sounds like you had a gret time! (Lou jealous)... and I agree about the JK at night! The jokes may be the same, but it's a very different experience.

Oh, and to the DWT Family!

    TKS, Lou

Thanks Lou for the Warm Welcome! I happened upon your Newsgroup when searching for Disney secret spots and hints. I have been to WDW about 80 times or more in the last 25 years (I'm 32) and now have turned my hubby and two children into fanatics. Although it wasn't a difficult task. My 5 year old is now addicted to pin trading. She already was outgoing and chatted with everyone around us in the attraction lines, now she is on a pin trading FRENZY

How did you get to be a Disney expert all the way up in Jersey?

BTW, I am an academic advisor at U of Florida and serve as the liaison for the WDWCP rep who comes to our campus every semester.

WOW now I'm really looking forward to those late hours Disneyland will be running while I'm there in July (like I wan't already!). I was under the impression that WDW had not had hours this late in recent years with the exception of eride nights and other seprate ticket events, this is one point I'm glad to be found wrong on!
