I was excited and surprised too cause usually it seems that WDW closes around 9 or 10 at MK, and Epcot, MGM and Animal Kingdom seem to close earlier than that. But the regular closing (not extra magic hours, was 12 on a Sunday night!! (May 29th)) You can see the regular hours on

I miss the Skyway!!! I LOVED that! They should bring it back! or at least make a new ride outta the old SkyWay station by IASW! I only get to go on one at the fair now.(hint: Disney's is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better:yes: )
When your taling about lost attractions, it begins and ends with Mr. Toad, with two different paths, a visit to a pub, and the inevitable run in with a locomotive, Mr. toads wll live forever. although for some reason Delta Dreamflight was always one of my favorites, wehter it was the short lines or the general joy the ride brought out in me, I dont know. Plus Horizons was one of a kind. I havent ridden Mission: Space, but I know it wont be the same. I always told myself if I won the lottery I would check the cost of a full scale Toad for my backyard!;) :mk: :mk:Milltown Figment
I thoroughly miss the following:
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - except that music in the queue line drove me nuts!
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - the smell of the air-conditioning unit, the little red seats, and the sea serpent.
If You Had Wings. I was afraid of roller coasters at the time, so when everyone else went on Space Mountain, I'd ride this to my heart's content. I can practically quote the whole thing.
Magic Journeys. My first and still favorite 3-D movie.
The old Journey Into Imagination, with Dreamfinder and Figment. What the **** were they thinking to update it to its present, LOUSY conditon??
Michael Iceberg and the Iceberg Machine. Never missed a show in Tomorrowland during the late 70's.
The old music played during the Electric Water Pageant.
The Main Street Electrical Parade. *sniff*
I miss Mr. Toad Sooo much!! :cry: and Journey into Imagination just is not the same as it used to be.
Does anyone remember what ride was in the Magic Kingdom where Stitches Great Escape is now, but before Alien Encounter???
It was "Mission to Mars" which I never rode but remember somehow.

That's right - which was rather silly, but at the time it was considered quite cool. Before that, it was "Mission to the Moon." While you ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, have you ever heard a page for "Mr. Tom Morrow?" He used to be the main AA figure at both Mission to the Moon and Mission to Mars.

I always notice the "Tom Morrow" page, and it's especially funny to me b/c one of my best friend's Dad is actually named "Tom Morrow". Haha wonder what his parents were thinking. When she told me her Dad's name was Tom, I laughed and she was like "I know, I know, 'tommorrow'." I told her I was laughing about the PEOPLE MOVER (not TTA...sorry I'm old school!) thing with her Dad's name and she just looked at me like I was stupid. Anyway, I heard "Mission to the Moon" was a Disney attraction built before men actually landed on the moon, and had to be changed to Mars when the moon landing took place, b/c it wasn't "futuristic" anymore.
