i was easily scared back thn so i was being a bit over dramatic
I remember one of my first times on The Mansion, although I don't remember my age. I was in my fathers arms in front of the doors screaming my head off because I was so scared...but, now you can't get me off of the darn thing lol

Ah!...There you are...
I'm one of those people who was always fascinated by the supernatural as well as anything supposedly scary as a kid, so I always loved the Mansion.

20K I was too but, for some reason I was so scared of going it. I remember asking when we got out if we could do it again though...I guess the fear kinda disappeared lol.

Thinking about it now, the only part of the Mansion that actually scared me was the endless hallway. The concept - let alone the staging - freaked me out like nothing else, particularly because something like that is a lot easier to relate to your own home than, say, a ballroom. The fact that they always seemed to stop the Doombuggies THE MINUTE I turned to face the effect didn't help either!

The pop ups are what always go me. lol

i think Paul Frees' voice as the ghost host really makes this attraction... from the beginning he gives you that aura...

Yep, when I was a young'un, this is what crippled me with fear. And since it was toward the end of the ride, I could not enjoy the first sections as much, due to my fearful anticipation of what awaited in the attic.
I was one of those kids screaming in the queue, but now, it's one of my all-time favorites.
