Re: Did You Ever See The Show "Food Rocks"

Epcots FW concept was injecting fun into education and learning. A concept lost on many educators. FL use to send many of their classes there in the off months.

Many schools were able to do their band trips etc there because they took a day and hit FW. So many districts have stopped sending their kids to WDW for band trips because there isn't an educational connection.
Ours is trying to work something into AK however the new thing is to label everything a tour at prices that are albeit high.

Food Rocks actually taught many things about the food and the pyramids and yet wasn't done in a boring fashion for kids.
    Some people are like Slinkies.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

I was a chaperone on a field trip to Epcot in the 90s. I miss how Epcot used to be. Food Rocks was good but I like Kitchen Kaberet better. Bonnie Appetite was one hot AA!

I liked Food Rocks but I think Kitchen Kabaret was better. Who could deny the catchy lyrics of "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit?"

I don't remember "Food Rocks" but I do remember "Kitchen Cabaret" and not being that impressed with it. Although I did like the song "Veggie, veggie, fruit, fruit." By the way, Martian Crab, I enjoyed the "quote" from Abe Lincoln.

I loved this show! I have the audio on my computer, and whenever Sledgehammer comes on the radio, I start singing "High Fiber"....seriously...ask my husband.
