who?
The only time I saw it was back in 2001 and I guess I loved it (that is what my mom tells me). The videos make me wish I saw it more then once.

No doubt it will one day surface - rather dubiously - on eBay, where he may bid away to his heart's content.

Not necessarily. The show for me was a one-and-done. Any time you base an attraction around specific songs, you automatically date it. And most of the songs weren't ones I liked anyway. They set themselves up for failure, or at least a constant need for updating. Much like food itself, the attraction's song selection had a definite shelf life.
Disney put a spin on some pretty diverse and popular songs that crossed many generations. It was also an attraction that small children really enjoyed. They were welcomed to stand, clap and interact without being given the evil eye. We would do 2 week trips with my kids when small and we would hit this attraction every time we went to Epcot. It did not grate on my nerves because it didn't have childish music created only for children.
The old Epcot had many things that were family friendly. This was one of them. No height restrictions. Between the Circle of Life, Food Rocks and the Land we would at least spend an hour or so in that pavilion. Same went for the Imagination pavilion and Wonders of Life. Today's Future World has less for a young family. My kids when young could also go in Energy, Horizons and Motion. So much for the entire family to do together. Not so much the case for the shorter and fearful kids now.

Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
It seemed that back then, with the heavy focus on education, the rides were way too long. Even the new U of E was updated to attempt to bring humor into a long and tedious ride. Mind you, they didn't shorten anything, just tried to give you less time during which to be bored. Sorry, I see one windmill and I'm OUT.
