Lost Attractions You want to ride....
Everyone has the attractions they want back so they can ride again. But what about those of us who weren't born yet, hadn't been to WDW yet, or don't remember the rides cause they were to young when these attractions closed? So this begs a question what attractions would you bring back to ride because you never got to ride them?

Re: Lost Attractions You want to ride....
I know for me i have always wanted to ride the Skyway, the orginial Journey into Imagination, Horizons, Mr. Toad's, and world or motion. And maybe Alien Encounter because i was there when it was open but i was so young that i was scared to ride it but now that i am a teenage i might like it.

Horizons -
Not because it wasn't around when I first started visiting, but purely because I took its presence for granted and never actually rode it when I still had the chance. It is so often held up as a prime example of themed-entertainment that I wish I could have seen it first-hand.

I'd go on 20K again. I didn't really appreciate it the last time I went on it.

If I could go on it again... they'd have bring security to drag me off at the end.
I'd also like to add the SeaCabs at the Living Seas. Never actually went on them... in their original form at any rate. And If You Had Wings. I only saw the later versions, like Delta Dreamflight et al.

I LOVED If you had Wings. When I first visited Disney they had the ticket system but IYHW was a free ride. Since I have 3 siblings you can bet we went on it multiple times to save mom & dad some cash.

They'd phased out tickets by my first trip, to my eternal shame. I am a mere newboy in comparison.

Horizons and If You Had Wings. Only experienced them once, but have always remembered them.

20,000 Leagues, please. I know my son would love it and I'm so sorry he'll never experience it. Take that back -- maybe we can go to Paris some day.
If You Had Wings fans (and who isn't) will enjoy an article about that attraction in the new Chad Emerson anthology: Ayefour Publishing
I know I keep hyping this book on this site, but it is so **** GOOD.

World of Motion and Horizons - I remember bits and pieces of WOM, but nothing about Horizons.

I agree with you - a truly fantastic book - but the article (Mike Lee's) is also available online at Widen Your World for those of you too impatient or too cheap to purchase the book.
With regards to 20,000 Leagues, set your sights further: aim for Tokyo's!

Re: Lost Attractions You want to ride....
Three attractions that I only experienced once when I was just a wee lad that I would definitely want back: Skyway, Dreamflight (the last version) and the Hunchback of Notre Dame Show. They were there in my first visit in 1997, and seized to exist in my 2nd visit in 2002.
Also, one I never got to experience that I would want to go on would definitely be 20,000 leagues under the sea. I've always read so much good about it, it's a shame I never got to experience it.
And just for laughs...I never went to River Country. I think it would have been cool to go there before it closed.

Re: Lost Attractions You want to ride....
The Skyway was good fun, but for me... well, I'm not afraid of heights... only the fear of falling from them...
